Marshall County Probate Office Partners with ePN for eRecording

June 12, 2018 – The Marshall County Probate Office has partnered with eRecording Partners Network (ePN) to bring eRecording to their Alabama County. Andrea LeCroy, Chief Clerk of the Marshall County, AL, Probate Office, and her Team have been working diligently with ePN on the integration process to accept electronically submitted documents in their office for recording.

“We are so excited to offer this service to the citizens of Marshall County. We are always looking for new technology to improve our office workflow,” expresses Andrea LeCroy, Chief Clerk. “eRecording will decrease the turnaround time on documents filed electronically and decrease labor costs at the same time. The best part is that there was no cost to the County!  Rest assured, that we will still offer standard paper recording services, as well.”

Marshall installed ePN’s DocRouter Solution which now allows closing agents to submit documents electronically for Recording. Once approved by the Clerk, the documents are then electronically imported into the Probate office’s official records. With no costs incurred by the county from ePN, Chief Clerk LeCroy was able to open up a new public service to Marshall County customers. ePN is proud to announce that Common Bond Title, an Alabama title agency and ePN customer, was the first to submit documents for eRecording to Marshall County.

On Wednesday, May 23, 2018, the Marshall County Probate Office and ePN Team Representative, Janine McCabe, partnered together to host an eRecording and Networking event that was held in the Marshall County Probate Courtroom in Guntersville, AL. The event was successful in bringing in local title agencies and attorneys for open discussions and great networking.

“Our Team is very delighted to partner with Marshall County, AL, and be a part of their eRecording journey,” said Jerry Lewallen, ePN President. “We are thankful for the opportunity to help them increase efficiency within their office and support them every step of the way.”

ePN is one of the fastest growing national eRecording service providers. As recorders nationwide are making the necessary arrangements to implement eRecording in their offices, the ePN Team works closely with them to integrate their electronic recording technology with the jurisdictions’ land record systems. ePN is focused on building and maintaining a firm foundation of excellent service to counties and submitters.
